Welcome to LightAhead! My name is Maureen McGinty, I created LightAhead to offer support and help for people of all ages to deal with stress and anxiety as well as provide support if you are searching for a way to regain your emotional health and wellbeing. I offer a safe space for you to explore your concerns. My aim is to guide you to feel empowered to be able to help yourself regaining your confidence in your inner knowing and strength to move forward with sparkle in your eyes and bounce in your steps.

Jikiden Reiki®
This natural healing treatment clears energy blockages and restores balance throughout the body, leaving you feeling energised, balanced and refreshed. It is an ideal treatment if you really need to relax and find some inner peace. Reiki is a complementary therapy meaning that it can work alongside other treatments you may be having. I am a Jikiden Reiki® Professional Practitioner registered with the CNHC. I offer:
- In-person Reiki sessions in Exmouth, Budleigh Salterton and Exeter. These are a full-body treatment conducted fully clothed on a massage table or chair.
- The opportunity to learn Reiki for yourself if you are new to Reiki.
- Reiki Techniques workshop if you want to refresh your Reiki skills.
- I also offer Enkaku (distance Reiki).

EFT and Matrix Reimprinting
EFT and Matrix Reimprinting are both tools for empowerment and transformation, I am here to help you release blocks to help you embrace life more fully. EFT or tapping is a stress reduction technique using the fingertips on specific points on the head and body. This tapping process helps to balance energy and reduce physical and/or emotional pain, leaving you feeling less burdened by difficult emotions. Together we will work to identify a starting point.
Matrix Reimprinting uses tapping as a way in to connect you with the limiting beliefs that you may still be unaware of yet running as a pattern in your life. I draw on a range of gentle techniques to support you to transform limiting beliefs and move forward positively.

First steps
Contact me for a free, no-obligation 20-minute phone call to talk through your concerns and see if we would be a good fit working together.
Should you wish to go ahead, we will arrange a suitable time for our first session, which may last for up to 75 minutes – a bit longer than usual. This is because our first meeting will involve asking a few questions that will help me understand your priorities and together plan the way forward.

Pricing
Traditional Japanese Jikiden Reiki® Initial - £45.
Enkaku (Distant) Reiki £40 - 60 minutes.
Emotional Freedom Techniques (Tapping) - £65.00 per hour. Blocks of 4 £255.
Matrix Reimprinting and Emotional Freedom Techniques (Tapping) - £75.00 per hour. Blocks of 4 £275.
